Macau : Michelin's recommendations

Bibendum

Money, money, money... even today the casinos of Macau bring in more profit than those of Las Vegas and Monte Carlo combined. And yet there’s more to this city than just slot machines. Macau was built by the Portuguese in the 16C on a site captured from pirates, and this powerful trading post gradually built up commerce with the entire world. Macau is a mix of East and West – this can be seen in the faces of its inhabitants and in its architecture, and its food is a delicious combination of influences. The city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
