Located close to the Summer Palace, this park certainly lives up to its name, with its scented gardens and temples full of incense. The first to take advantage of the coolness of the park were the emperors of the Yeng dynasty, who built the 14C Azure Clouds Temple, from where the view encompasses the whole of Beijing. Other temples, standing on hills surrounded by greenery, include those of the Incense Burner and the Reclining Buddha.
