The green hills of Yuexiu Park are popular with the inhabitants of Guangzhou, who come here to relax, enjoy a picnic or take their morning exercise. Two monuments attract the attention of amateur photographers: Zhenhai Tower and the sculpture of the Five Goats. The former is an elegant five-storey pagoda built in red wood, which is now home to the History Museum of Guangzhou. The sculpture depicts a local legend, in which the five Immortals descend from heaven on the back of five goats in order to found the city of Guangzhou.
