During the horticultural revolution in the 1950s, gardens suffered serious neglect as flowers were considered superfluous to requirements. The Couple’s Garden was resurrected around 1980 and restored to its original design. Laid out in two distinct parts, it extends on either side of a central living area. Lined by canals on three of its sides and tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac, this garden lives up to its promise of harmony and serenity.
