The Lion Forest Garden was built in the 14C by Zen Buddhist monks in honour of their master Tian Ru. Rocks dominate the landscape and perspectives of the main courtyard, paying homage to their master, who for a long time lived on Lion Rock Mountain in the province of Zhejiang.
