Kaohsiung : Michelin's recommendations

Kaohsiung, Taiwan's main port, has everything you would expect from a modern metropolis. It has nonetheless preserved its pagodas, temples and museums, as well as the former British consulate (1858), which overlooks the port. The little island of Qijin, which the city grew out of, is best visited in a rickshaw.
