The night markets, of which there are many in Taipei, are open from 6pm onwards. Be sure to see the Guanghua Digital Market, the giant Shilin Market, the Raohe Street Market for its traditional feel and Huaxi Street Market, known as Snake Alley, for its colourful reptile-based culinary fare.
