Time difference

There is a 7-hour time difference between Malaysia and the UK and Ireland in summer and an 8-hour time difference in winter. When it is 12 noon in Kuala Lumpur, it is 5am in London and Dublin in summer and 4am in winter.

Documents

A passport valid for six months after departure from the country is required for stays of less than three months. For longer stays, a visa is required.

Recommended vaccinations: DT Polio, typhoid, hepatitis A and B and in some places Japanese encephalitis.
