You’ll have more chance of seeing orang-utans close up at the Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre than walking through the Kinabalu National Park. Founded in 1964, this reserve looks after sick and injured orang-utans and reintroduces them to the jungle. Be warned, however, as you walk around the reserve – the animals are very curious!
