There is no Malian Embassy in London. UK and Irish citizens should contact the Malian Embassy in Brussels.

Time difference
There is a 1hr time difference between Mali and the UK and Ireland in summer and no time difference in winter. When it is 12 noon in Bamako in summer it is 11am in London and Dublin.
Documents
A valid passport (valid for 6 months after the date of return) and a visa (which can be extended in Mali) are required for stays of up to 30 days.
Health
Compulsory vaccinations: yellow fever.
Recommended vaccinations: DT polio, hepatitis A and B and typhoid.
Anti-malaria medication is a must.
Insurance is advisable (automatically provided by some bank cards).
