The Inquisitor's Palace was built in order to reinforce Catholic power in the face of Islam and the emergence of Protestant doctrine. Today, the collections of an ethnographical museum are laid out in this magnificent edifice, which was built from globigerina limestone and repeatedly extended between the 16C and 18C.
