Set in the small village of Tarxien in south Malta, Bowyer House dates back to the 16th century. It features an outdoor pool, a private chapel and a pretty internal courtyard with tables and chairs. Bowyer House is actually composed of 2 buildings. The historic one is where you will find the bar, lounge, meeting rooms and the courtyard. Rooms are located in the new building, connected by an internal passageway. Rooms are simply furnished and feature a fan and a private bathroom with hairdryer. Some have a balcony. A continental breakfast is served buffet style each morning and includes ham and cheese. The restaurant offers traditional Maltese cuisine, with gluten-free, lactose-free and vegetarian options available on request. The nearest bus stop is 5 minutes away on foot for buses to the beach, around 15 minutes' drive away. Malta International Airport is less than 10 minutes away by car.
