Time difference

There is a 1-hour time difference between Malta and the UK and Ireland in summer and winter. When it is 12 noon in London, it is 1pm in Malta.

A valid passport is required for all visitors. A visa is not required for EU nationals.


Health

No vaccinations required.

Insurance is advisable (automatically provided by some bank cards). Visitors from EU member states should also apply for a European Health Insurance Card at least two weeks before departure (see http://www.e111.org.uk for further information).
