Balata Garden : Michelin's recommendations
The botanical garden of Balata is the work of Jean-Philippe Thoze who collected rare, tropical plants over a 20-year period. Heliconias, ginger, begonias, orchids and bromelia paint a vivid picture, alternating between bright splashes of colour and dense greenery, all of which to a backdrop of birdsong (look out for the hummingbird). Remember to pick up the leaflet, which will help you identify some of the 200 species present on the estate.

Pros
Superbe jardin, à ne surtout pas manquer si vous aimez les plantes, la nature, et que vous passez par la Martinique. Un palette impressionnante de diversité botanique, aux couleurs et formes plus belles les unes que les autres. Un clin d'oeil particulier à l'accueil en début de visite par les colibris qui virevoltent proche de l'entrée.
