Château Dubuc
Château Dubuc
: Michelin's recommendations
A Caribbean buccaneer! It must be admitted that the reputation of Pierre Dubuc, after whom the castle is named, can hardly be deemed anything other than dubious. Although his estate was officially a sugar plantation, according to legend, he engaged in slavery and smuggling, which the size of the warehouses compared to those intended for sugar cane would seem to confirm. Today in ruins, this 18C château and its small museum will take you on a journey through time, back to swashbuckling buccaneers and sugar cane plantations.
