Le Marin Travel guide
Le Marin : Michelin's recommendations
Facing the sea, Le Marin has become one of the best marinas of the Caribbean. The natural harbour boasts numerous advantages: nestling at the end of a dead end, it is bordered by the Marin headland to the south and by Borgnesse headland to the west towards Saint Luce. The sea and fishing are responsible for its wealth. The British coveted its strategic location, in vain, and its maritime vocation attracted legions of clever carpenters, which gradually diversified their activity from naval construction to cabinetmaking, which sealed the port's reputation in the 19C.
