Le Vauclin
: Michelin's recommendations
The seafront, lined with colourful Creole houses and a fishing district, dotted with fishing boats and coconut trees, depict the charm of Vauclin, a quiet village off the main road. The coast, which features a string of picturesque headlands and jagged bays, is dominated by the imposing outlines of Vauclin Mountain, the highest peak of the south of the island (504m).
