Driving around Acapulco Bay, first you go through Acapulco Dorado, the central area, before reaching the extremely lively Acapulco Diamante farther east. The road is particularly enchanting at night, with splendid viewpoints over the mythical bay. The high cross on top of the hill, by the Las Brisas quarter, indicates the Chapel of Peace (Capilla de la Paz). The panorama is all the more stunning in this amazingly peaceful place.
