San Andrés Larraínzar : Michelin's recommendations

About twenty kilometres from San Cristóbal de las Casas, San Andrés Larraínzar remains marked by Zapatista history, having been the setting for the agreement signed in 1996 between the Zapatista Army of National Liberation (EZLN) and the federal government. The village church here, as in San Juan Chamula, is a place of ardent worship. Keep in mind that San Andrés Larraínzar is far off the usual tourist routes and no misconduct whatsoever would be tolerated here.
