The museum is an excellent complement to the site itself, particularly since the very fine objects are impressively displayed. Here you can get an idea of the famous Pakal tomb (Templo de las Inscripciones), reconstructed in a special room. Don’t miss the ceramiccensers from the Grupo de la Cruz, the jewellery, stucco heads and, above all, the tablets with hieroglyphs (Tablero del Palacio) and historical bas-reliefs (polychrome tablets from temple 19) featuring refined calligraphy and artwork.
