Delve into Morocco's culture by learning firsthand about the area's culinary offerings. Depart your hotel, and receive a morning lesson on the Arabic words for some traditional recipe ingredients. Travel to the local souq (market) and try out your new language skills as you browse the wares for meat, vegetables, herbs, and spices that form the basis of Moroccan cuisine. Later, take part in a hands-on cooking class, using your souq purchases while a chef teaches you how to make traditional local dishes. Learn all about the key ingredients of authentic Moroccan fare, and savor the result of your cooking instruction when you partake of the meal you created for lunch. Afterwards, make your way back to your hotel armed not only with your new knowledge of Moroccan food, but also with your own copies of Moroccan recipes that you can make in the comfort of your home.

Note:
This activity is suitable for participants age 6 and older. It is recommended that you wear comfortable walking shoes for this tour as well as lightweight and lightly colored clothing during the warm months. Wide-brimmed hats, raincoats, and umbrellas are also suggested. Tour is offered on a join-in basis with a maximum group size of 12. Gratuity is not included and is at your discretion.
