A room, a bedroom, a staircase, a courtyard, a patio, an antechamber followed by another patio... While the rooms are not organised according to any specific plan, they all share a common point: their superb decoration featuring zellige tiles, sculpted wood, stucco and paintings. Add to that a vast and magnificent garden with trees and flowers and you have a superb ensemble. Bahia Palace was commissioned in the late 19C by Ba Ahmed, vizier of sultans Moulay Hassan and Moulay Abdelaziz, and it definitely lives up to its name: palace of the beautiful one!
