This is one of the few sanctuaries in Morocco open to non-Muslims. The entrance to the mausoleum is through a finely worked gate decorated with tracery and topped by a green-tiled canopy. A series of open-air rooms and a courtyard for ablutions precede the sanctuary. From a room adjacent to the latter where your shoes must be removed, you can admire the room decorated with stucco and mosaics where the sultan lies.
