Created in the early 1930s, this archaeological museum offers the fruits of the excavations undertaken at the main prehistoric, pre-Islamic and Islamic sites in Morocco. Archaeological research methods (prospecting, photogrammetry, restoration, dating) are presented in the lobby along with a map of the country’s main sites. The oval room at the end of the tour, the highlight of the exhibition, contains a very interesting collection of Roman bronzes.
