Following the road heading south from Tafraoute, the amazing boulders here that were painted by Jean Vérame on the Painted Rocks site (4 km south of Agard) don’t prepare you for the chaos of Ait-Mansour Gorge. Here the Sidi Mansour River carved out its bed between vertiginous rock walls. Making it even more amazing, the bottom of the gorge soon turns green from the palm oasis. Enchanting!
