  Pros

  Nice location in the centre of Alkmaar. Owner was very pleasant and made us feel like home, settings are like your in a livingroom. Amuze was very tasteful. Suprise was that you can't choose from a large menu but he has a select choice (starters/ maincourse/ dessert) where you can choose from, everything tasted very good and was presented with care. Wine and port was very tasteful. Value for money was excellent, paid 90 euros for two persons (three courses each with beverages!!)

  Cons

  presentation of the cheese plate was on a simple white dish, it really stood out from the rest of the presentation what was perfect!
