Cinema Museum (Filmmuseum) : Michelin's recommendations

Initially intended to be a restaurant, this monumental garden building was built in 1881 by P.J. Hamer and restored after the Second World. Since 1991 it has been a film library, where over 1000 films are shown every year. In the summer free, outdoor showings are held.

    This building is reconstructed to house AVRO broadcasting service. The Filmuseum has been renamed EYE and finds its new home in a brand new building elsewhere in the city
