Van Gogh Museum : Michelin's recommendations

Opened in 1973, this museum contains hundreds of Van Gogh's paintings, drawings and letters, through which his development can be followed from the Nuenen period (1883-1885) to the Auvers-sur-Oise period (1890). There are also some works by artists who were friends of the painter. To visit this museum is to discover a body of work by one of the greatest Dutch painters, a man who fled his country to explore the light of the South. The experience is unforgettable.

Pros

Si Van Gogh es uno de tus pintores favoritos, no te pierdas su museo. Estuve en octubre del 2011 y es muy completo. Está La Habitación, Los girasoles, Los lirios entre muchos otros. El museo lo abren a las 10:00 am y merece la pena comprar la MUSEUMKAART si se van a visitar varios museos. Cuesta unos 45 € y te permite entrar a la mayoría de los museos de Amsterdam, Leiden y Harleem. La entrada al Van Gogh cuesta si no recuerdo mal 15 €. Es muy sencillo llegar a la plaza de los museos en tranvía.

Que no estaba la obra Le café de nuit, una de mis favoritas.
