Arnhem : Michelin's recommendations

Arnhem, capital of Gelderland province, is a former duchy. Located on the Nederrijn (Lower Rhine), the town is an important road junction which survives mainly on the textile industry and metallurgy. It also has technological research institutes and numerous study centres and plays an important administrative role in the east of the country. As for cooking, the "Arnhemse meisjes", small light biscuits are the local speciality.
