This impressive Gothic Brabant church dates from the 15 and 16C Its high belfry (97 m) is surmounted by an onion-shaped dome with a carillon of 49 bells. Inside there are a number of tombs, the most impressive being a Renaissance tomb, in alabaster, of Engelbert II of Nassau and wife (16C). The vaults beneath contain (one of many) the mortal remains of R of Chalon.
