This church, dedicated to Saint Hippolytus, is reflected in the Old Canal. Built in the 13C, it was enlarged three times. The three chancels date back to the 16C. The leaning tower of the main nave houses a great bell which, at 9 tonnes, is the second largest in the Netherlands. You will notice the Renaissance pulpit, which is closely related to that of the Great Church of The Hague, and the windows (1972) by J. Nicolas, in the chancel, the transept and the side aisles (at the far end). Many famous people are buried here.
