As in all towns of Saxon origin, the main square of the town is called 'brink'. It is there that the market is held (on Friday mornings and Saturdays). Notice, at no.'s 11 and 12, a façade dating back to the beginning of the 17C, adorned with shells. The Penninckhuis house, richly decorated, dates back to 1600.
