A burial-ground and church were established here in memory of St. Boniface. The present Protestant building is Gothic in style; the chancel dates back to C15. Inside you will notice the very high gallery inserted above the side aisle, the large number of tombstones strewn across the floor and the Frisian pulpit with carved panels (representing a lion, a pelican and a hawk).
