Built in 1260, this castle was extended around 1600 and now consists of a tall, square main building with outhouses, surrounded by moats and the meadows of the nearby river. The wall opens up to reveal an attractive emblazoned door. Several furnished rooms in the North and East wings are open to the public. The South wing houses the Museum for Nature and Wildlife Preservation (Museum voor Natuur- en Wildbeheer).
