Dordrecht : Michelin's recommendations
Located in the south of the province of Zuid Holland, Dordrecht is a large river centre nestling between the Rhine and the Meuse and their many tributaries. It is also a large marina containing many yachts. The old town has preserved its colourful quays, its canals and its old façades, while the southern districts compete with some bold constructions. Dordrecht inspired many painters, including Van Gogh, and was the birthplace of a number of artists ( Ary Scheffer , 19C).
