Eemshaven : Michelin's recommendations

The new port of Eemshaven, inaugurated in 1973, was dug out of the Emmapolder and the Oostpolder. An industrial area completes the town. To the east, the Eemscentrale power station has run on natural gas since 1976. It is planned that Eemshaven should import more liquid gas in order to conserve the country's reserves.
