This complex of 264 white houses with red roofs was created by W. M. Dudok, the architect of the Hilversum town hall. It's a beautiful example of a functionalist town. Its construction, carried out between 1937 and 1974, was financed by a private construction company. The whole town is classified as an historic monument.
