This museum occupies the former island church and its outbuildings. It evokes the region's medieval past through the archeological discoveries made during the construction work, the island's population in prehistoric times and its geological evolution. Behind the rectory, you will see part of the wooden paling that protected the island from attacks from the sea. Two upright grave markers built into the walls of the church and rectory show how high the water came during different periods of flooding.
