In this municipal museum, paintings, models and varied objects recall the rich history of the town. The accent is laid mainly on navigation at Flushing, Admiral De Ruyter and the East India Company (VOC). Another aspect recalled is the importance of piloting. An exhibition brings together varied merchandise coming from the cargo of some of the ships who have foundered on the sand banks.
