The Jeruzalemkapel (15 C) occupies the corner of the Patersteeg. On the opposite corner, note the former orphanage (the Weeshuis, 1642), now a library, that presents a facade of gables and volutes next to gate topped with a bas-relief representing two orphans. On the opposite sidewalk, at no. 2, a 1614 gate remodeled in the 18 C leads to a hospice for the elderly (the Oude Mannenhuis).
