At the sign of the Moor (moriaan), which evokes a tobacco shop, this Renaissance house (ca. 1625) has been transformed into a museum of pottery and pipes (Aardewerk- in Pijpenmuseum). There you'll find a reconstructed and fully stocked tobacco shop and a rich collection of clay pipes and decorated pottery (Gouda earthenware). The rooms in this museum testify to Gouda's rich tradition as a centre of industry and pottery.
