Harderwijk : Michelin's recommendations

Harderwijk has preserved from its past as a Hanseatic town of the old Zuidersee some picturesque avenues, the remains of its brick ramparts and its port, where you can try some excellent smoked eel. This town, located beside the Veluwemeer and which has two marinas and a beach, is become affluent through tourism. The hinterland, in the Veluwe, is made up of dunes, forests and moorland. It has several nature reserves.
