This dock, now a marina, is lined with picturesque houses and warehouses. On the north quay, note several fine stones on the façades. The town hall (stadthuis) stands on the south side. This building, dating from the 18C, is topped with a bas-relief depicting the archangel St. Michael. Its rear façade, which looks out over Voortstraat, is flanked by a tower containing a peal of bells.
