One of the banks of this canal is riddled with caves (kelders). The bridge to the north has a pretty view over the banks of the Voorstreek and the belfry of the church of St Boniface. Also noteworthy is the small statue of Mata Hari, erected in 1976 on the anniversary of her birth, which depicts her in the middle of a dance step.
