This museum is in the old Caecilia hospital, where the renowned professeur H. Boerhaave taught medicine. Forceps, microscopic slides, massage instruments, electrostatic machines, astronomical, surgical and microscope instruments give an insight into five centuries of natural sciences and medicine. It is one of the largest museums in this field in the world. You must see the collection of Christiaan Huygens (inventor of the pendulum clock).
