This old chapel of the Carolingian palace, probably rebuilt in the 11C, hides in the trees. It is near a terrace from which there is an attractive view over the Waal. It has 16 sides and is topped with an octagonal turret. Inside, you will notice the pillars which circumscribe a central space in the shape of an octagon. On the first floor runs a gallery with gemelled windows.
