On the right bank of the river, the Het Scheur, are Maassluis group of industries. Near the Rozenburg church the De Hoop (Hope) windmill is visible. Along the Noordzeeweg road (between the Nieuwe Waterweg and the Calandkanaal) can be seen unloading points for the various different companies' oil tankers. At the end, the road circuits an old radar installation, and from here there is fine view of the Hoek van Holland, the Europoort and the boat-filled harbour mouth.
