The central station (Centraal Station) dates from 1957. With one's back to it the Delftse Poort can be seen to the left. This building was designed by A. Bonnema and contains the offices of the Nationale Nederlanden insurance company. There are two glass-sheathed towers, one 93 m high, the other 150 m.
