Pretty houses adorn the town of Schoonhoven. Especially noteworthy is no.37 in the Lopikerstraat, its 1642 façade is decorated with a double stepped gable and red shutters.

This building stands beside the canal. Built in the 15C (it has since been modernised, it is topped with a high tower topped with a belltower (carillon).
