This impressive Baroque façade belongs to the foundation built in 1756 as a school for orphans. Turning around, you will see on the left an attractive collection of low brick houses belonging to a hospice (Kameren Maria van Pallaes) founded in 1651. At the corner of the streets of Lange Nieuwstaat and Agnietenstraat is the Foundation of Willem Arntsz, the oldest psychiatric institution in the country. Today the building belongs to the Centraal Museum.
